Responsibilities
The Human Resources Division is responsible for recruitment and vetting, compensation programs, labor law compliance, employee benefits, job descriptions, promotional exams, promotions, and retirement resources. providing guidance and assistance with personnel, training, and collective bargaining compliance related matters. The division prepares and processes the bi-weekly payroll, transmits all direct deposits, processes reimbursements, withholds and submits all federal and state taxes, garnishments and child support payments for all employees, submits quarterly and annual tax returns and responsible for pension extracts.
